Miles State High School is located at the northern end of Pine Street, Miles.
The school draws students from the town of Miles and surrounding rural areas. We have a number of small feeder schools from the townships of Condamine, Drillham, Dulacca, Guluguba and Wandoan.
Our partnership in learning is based on ensuring that our students are being prepared for an ever-changing future. That their learning engagement is essential to ensure that the chosen future that our students planned for are achieved.
Miles State High School proudly provides its students with many and varied learning opportunities and effective resources to engage in a curriculum that supports technology, sports, sciences, humanities and the arts. These opportunities are delivered in modern facilities that includes state of the art Trade Training Centre, a new hospitality kitchen, science laboratories, agricultural operations site, sporting ovals and undercover areas to name a few.
Our students, school staff, parent/carers and our wider community are all ‘Partners in Learning’ to develop and support high standards and high expectations that positively impact and develop the students we teach so that they become global citizens who value learning and community citizenship.
Our school’s motto says it all, at all times we 'Strive to Achieve'.
